Know what's working
What happened, what it means, and where to next.
03 / 04
Sound familiar?
You have numbers, but no clear decision.
- You get a report every month and still could not say what to do about it.
- Two tools give two different numbers and nobody can explain the gap.
- Nobody agreed what counts as a lead, so everything counts.
- The dashboard is full and the next decision is still unclear.
Why this matters
Most businesses do not have a data problem. They have a which-numbers-matter problem.
Once the three or four numbers that actually move your business are agreed and recorded properly, the monthly question stops being "what does all this mean" and starts being "right, what do we do".
What I actually do.
- 1Check your analytics and website tracking, and fix what is not recording properly.
- 2Agree what actually counts as an enquiry, so one number means one thing.
- 3Pull the channels into one view instead of four separate stories.
- 4Write up what happened and what I would do about it, in plain English.
- Tracking you can trust, checked rather than assumed.
- A monthly report written to be read, not decoded.
- One view across search, ads and the website.
- The recommendations to act on, including the months that do not go your way.

Answers before we talk.
Do I need new software for this?
Almost never. Most businesses already have more tools than they use. I would rather get the ones you have recording properly than add another subscription.
Can you fix tracking someone else set up?
Yes, and that is often the first job. Reporting is only worth having if the numbers underneath it are right, so the checks come before the report.
Is this only useful if you run my other marketing?
No. Reporting stands on its own. Plenty of businesses want a clear read on work someone else is doing, and that is a fair thing to ask for.
What do I actually get?
A dashboard built around your three to five numbers, labelled in plain English: "people who enquired", not "key event conversions". The link is yours to open any time. Then a short email every Friday and a one-page report each month.
What is in the weekly email?
Five lines. Sessions, enquiries, where they came from, one thing that moved and why, and then either "nothing needs your attention" or the one thing that does.
Do you use AI to write it?
AI drafts the summary from the numbers. I read it and check the figures underneath before it goes anywhere. If the data is thin, I will tell you there is not enough there to call it yet rather than dress it up.
Will you change things inside my accounts?
Not without asking. I start read-only. Editing tags, changing tracking or publishing anything needs your yes in writing first. Telling you what I would do is not the same as being told to do it.
Does this include doing the fixing?
No, and that is deliberate. This service reads the numbers and tells you what to do about them. The doing is the other services, and when a recommendation happens to be one of mine I will say so plainly.
Tell me what's going on.
Send your website and whatever's jumping out at you. You'll get a first read on what I'd fix, not a sales pitch.
